Sackler, Harry

Sackler, Harry
(b. 1883)
   American Hebrew and Yiddish author. He was born in Bohorodczany, Galicia, and went to the US in 1902. He worked as an attorney and served as an officer of various Jewish organizations. In his stories, novels, plays and essays he recreated Jewry throughout the ages; his novel Festival at Meron depicts the period of the Bar Kokhba revolt (132-5 CE).
